Job summary

embecta is seeking an HRIS Technical Administrator, a remote role with preference for Eastern/Central time zones. You will serve as the internal Workday SME for HCM, configuring and maintaining modules to ensure data integrity, reliability, and scalable HRIS capabilities.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and must be eligible to work in the United States

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience.
• Proficiency in core Workday modules: Core HCM, Business Processes, Security, Reporting (including calculated fields).
• Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator and Workday SME for HCM.
• Configure, maintain and optimize Workday modules including core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, and Absence.
• Manage business process framework, security roles, condition rules, and calculated fields.
• Lead configuration changes from requirements through testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Partner with HR to build SOPs for recurring Workday processes.
• Support ongoing maintenance and monitoring of Workday integrations and vendor collaborations.
