Eliassen Group is seeking a Principal Business Systems Analyst to lead Workday Financials solutioning, configuration, and support from a remote, w2-based consulting model. You will own architectural decisions, partner with finance and IT, and drive analytics and processes across Accounting, Banking, and Treasury.

This contract role requires 10+ years of experience, strong Workday expertise, and a proven ability to mentor teams while delivering robust reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience preferred with strong Workday Financials functional expertise.
• Hands-on support for Financial Accounting, Banking, Procurement, Suppliers, Customers, Expenses, and Business Assets.
• Advanced Business Process and Custom Validation configuration and Calculated Field development.
• Healthcare, health plan, or insurance industry experience preferred.
• Prior experience leading enterprise Workday Financials initiatives and relevant Workday certifications are beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced Workday Financials expertise and business acumen to solve highly complex issues and anticipate downstream impacts.
• Serve as functional and technical expert across Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Customer Accounts, Supplier Accounts, Banking and Treasury, Procurement, Expenses, Security, and Reporting and Analytics.
• Act as a super user and trusted advisor on system capabilities, process optimization, controls, and best practices.
• Lead analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of solutions that may impact multiple business areas and applications.
• Design and maintain complex Workday Business Processes, approval workflows, condition rules, security configurations, custom validations, and calculated fields.
• Develop and maintain advanced reports and dashboards to support decision‑making.
• Coordinate user support for complex inquiries, service requests, and production issues.
• Drive data and trend analysis and process improvement in partnership with business and IT.
• Mentor and coach junior team members on Workday capabilities and consulting skills.
