Job summary

Kainos is seeking a Workday Extend Developer to join a collaborative, problem-solving team. You’ll work on Extend applications for the cloud-based Workday system, capturing requirements, documenting, implementing, deploying and supporting solutions with guidance from senior consultants.

You will develop expertise in Workday Extend and the Extend platform, along with HCM/Financials business domain knowledge, building strong customer relationships to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and

Qualifications

• Proficiency with XML, REST, SOAP, JSON and be knowledgeable in an object oriented programming language (preferably J2EE).
• Cloud computing, web services and associated challenges.
• Strong customer focus with some consulting or client facing experience.
• Clear and effective communication in English, including remote contexts.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work within remote teams and with customers, with limited supervision.
• Ability to plan workload and meet deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to NDA policies.
• Willing to travel to client sites and collaborate with colleagues from other offices.
• Workday Extend or Extend Certified is desirable.
