Job summary

DEW Softech Inc is seeking a Workday Extend Developer to advance our Workday ERP transformation across Finance, HR and Reporting. This remote, contract role focuses on building Extend applications and integrating with billing and payroll processes.

You will partner with HCM, Payroll, and Finance leads to gather requirements, design data models, and ensure auditability and compliance. Applicants should have 5+ years Workday configuration and 3+ years Extend development, with a proven track record

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Workday configuration experience with a focus on Extend development.
• Proven ability to architect and deliver Extend solutions for finance, HR and reporting.
• Experience building and integrating Extend apps with billing/payroll processes.
• Strong collaboration across HCM, Payroll, Finance and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HCM, Payroll and Finance leads to capture requirements for multi-rate worker apps.
• Design and build a Workday Extend application with multiple bill rates per worker and approval routing.
• Evaluate new Extend use cases and decide on build/configure/retire actions.
• Ensure data models, orchestration flows, and compliance controls fit platform limits.
• Coordinate with Finance to surface risks and mitigations before production.
• Act as Extend SME, documenting solutions and sharing knowledge with the team.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly to stakeholders across the program.
