Job summary

CPS Inc. is seeking a Wood Coatings TS Rep - TEXAS - HOME BASED, leveraging your wood coatings application experience to support field and lab activities for customer accounts.

You will plan field/lab time, communicate coating performance needs, assist in color matching, train shop personnel, and collaborate with sales and the lab. Travel 50-60% regionally; bilingual Spanish is a huge plus. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree and 5 years of coatings experience required.
• Ability to travel 50-60% regionally and out of town.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus for this role.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and set up daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for field and lab work.
• Communicate product performance concerns to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with lab on product development needs and coating performance requirements.
• Qualify coating modifications and verify coatings meet test requirements.
• Provide coatings training and education to customer shop personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
