Job summary

RWS invites you to join its AI initiative as an AI Conversation Recording Contributor for Wolof (Senegal). This remote freelance role focuses on collecting natural, spontaneous speech and annotating data to help improve speech recognition and conversational AI systems.

Work from home with flexible, task-based hours (approximately 2–4 hours daily). You will record conversations in approved real-life settings, provide metadata, and follow detailed project instructions.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Wolof (Senegal).
• Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata.
• Experience with speech recording or data annotation projects is an advantage, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Record natural, spontaneous speech in accordance with project guidelines.
• Capture speech from approved real-life situations (workplace conversations, casual discussions).
• Complete individual or two-person conversational tasks, including voice/text interactions with AI systems.
