Job summary

RWS in the United States is seeking AI Conversation Recording Contributors to support an Akan speech data collection project. You will record spontaneous Akan speech and contribute to evaluating conversational AI systems.

This freelance, work-from-home role offers flexible scheduling (about 2–4 hours daily), immediate start, and payment at 10 USD per hour. Prior experience is optional but helpful for accuracy and metadata quality.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Akan.
• Strong English comprehension to understand instructions.
• Ability to follow detailed project instructions.
• Experience with speech recording or data annotation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record natural, spontaneous Akan speech per guidelines.
• Capture speech from real-life situations, such as workplace conversations.
• Complete conversational speech tasks with an AI or machine-based system.
• Annotate collected speech data according to the instructions.
• Provide required information and metadata for each recording.
