Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Windows System Administrator to support Navy HR systems in a remote capacity. The role emphasizes secure, high-performing Windows environments aligned with DoD security guidelines.

You will manage AD, server services, web servers, and VM infrastructure across on-premises and AWS, ensuring RMF/ATO compliance and rapid remediation of vulnerabilities. Strong collaboration with DoD stakeholders is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of demonstrated experience in IT/Windows administration.
• Experience as a Windows System Administrator.
• Experience applying DISA STIGs and IAVAs.
• Experience supporting Active Directory.
• Experience with security compliance tools such as ACAS.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support daily Windows system administration activities across DON AWS infrastructures.
• Assess systems and applications according to STIGs and SRGs.
• Generate, analyze ACAS scan results to identify vulnerabilities and support remediation.
• Monitor RMF compliance to sustain HRCP system ATO.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, IIS, Tomcat, and Apache web servers.
• Maintain network and AD infrastructure, DNS entries, and incident resolution.
• Document issues and perform service ticket resolution for portfolio operations.
