Job summary

DirectViz Solutions, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator to support our Huntsville, AL team onsite. You will manage Windows and Linux environments, perform RMF-compliant scans, and help migrate to cloud workloads in Azure while liaising with senior engineers.

Required DoD IAT II/III certification and 5+ years of Windows admin experience; active Interim Secret is preferred. The role offers solid benefits, growth, and a chance to work on mission-critical IT for government clients.

Qualifications

• Active Interim Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
• 5+ years Windows Systems Administration experience.
• Preferred Azure, Linux, AWS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy Windows servers, analyse logs, apply patches.
• Manage user accounts, reset passwords, document configurations.
• Perform SCAP scans and STIG checklists for RMF compliance.
• Bridge legacy Windows to Linux workloads and ensure uptime.
• Migrate, deploy, and monitor resources in Microsoft Azure.
• Use CLI to automate tasks, monitor health, and manage users.
• Promote Linux open-source tooling to improve performance and logging.
• Provide Tier 1/2 troubleshooting under pressure.
