Job summary

GE Vernova's Onshore Wind team is seeking a Wind Technician to support Limestone, TX operations, with focus on turbine maintenance, safety, and reliability.

You will work with site leadership, perform diagnostics, document activities, and coordinate with GE's remote operations center. This role offers relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within GE Vernova.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, and
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment, and
• 1+ year(s) experience as a Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic, or
• Completed Wind Certificate Program/Associates Degree in Energy, or
• 2 years of electrical work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turbine operations and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines.
• Repair or replace parts to fix malfunctions.
• Assist site leadership with daily activities and contract requirements.
• Document work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.
• Operate safely in diverse site environments.
