Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Wind Technician to support Onshore wind sites in the United States.

The role involves executing contractual obligations, performing maintenance and troubleshooting on wind turbine generators, and supporting site operations with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has wind technician experience, appropriate certifications, and the ability to work rotating shifts and travel as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with wind-related experience.
• Passing the Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year wind technician/wind mechanic experience or 2 years electrical work.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and on-call per site needs.
• Willingness to travel to other sites.

Responsibilities

• Work with site leadership to meet customer requirements and daily activities on GE wind turbine equipment.
• Perform maintenance, repair, or replacement to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines.
• Assist at other sites or operations as directed by manager.
• Document work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.
