Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Wind Technician for the Limestone wind site near Dawson, TX. You will perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on GE wind turbines, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of activities.

You will document work, interact with the remote operations center, and support site leadership to meet contractual obligations. A HS diploma or GED with wind-related credentials is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus technical knowledge assessment or Wind Certificate/Associates Degree or 2 years electrical work experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to climb towers up to 300 feet and handle up to 300 lbs with gear.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on GE wind turbines.
• Document all work using service reporting software.
• Coordinate with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements.
