Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Wind Technician to perform daily turbine operations, maintenance, and warranty repairs at a Texas hub with local travel.

The role involves collaboration with site leadership to fulfill contractual obligations and ensure safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have wind experience or related certifications, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in varied environments including industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic experience or Wind Certificate/Associates degree in Energy.
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbine components and systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and warranty repairs.
• Document work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with Site Lead/Manager to meet contract requirements and timelines.

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Electrical, or Electronics field
