Pacific Office Automation is seeking a Wide Format Service Technician to support customers across the United States. This home-based role requires travel approximately 50% to central and eastern regions, with responsibilities including on-site service, diagnostics, and training of operators on production print equipment.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years minimum of field service experience.
• Experience servicing wide format equipment and related technology.
• Strong knowledge of Onyx RIP workflows and Windows OS.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to ~50% across the Central/Eastern U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone and onsite technical support to customers.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, software upgrades, and preventive maintenance on production print equipment.
• Complete installations, deInstallations, relocations, and operator training.
• Follow up with customers to ensure equipment operates properly.
• Coordinate installations including site readiness, power, and RIP software compatibility.
• Maintain service records and documentation.
• Support sales teams by identifying upgrade opportunities and providing technical evaluations.
