Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking an experienced RF/WiFi verification engineer to collaborate with Baseband, RF, Antenna, and Software/Firmware teams to define system architectures, throughput targets, and latency budgets.

You will perform PHY/MAC trade-off studies, architect automated test beds for WLAN performance, interoperability, roaming, and functional compliance, and develop Python scripts to accelerate regression and stress testing across client ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards and security basics.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment in lab environments.
• Ability to design and execute test plans for Wi-Fi throughput and latency.

Responsibilities

• Vector Signal Analyzers (VSA) and Vector Signal Generators (VSG).
• Spectrum analyzers, power meters, and digital oscilloscopes.
• Dedicated Wi-Fi test solutions (e.g., OctoScope/Spirent, Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz).
• RF attenuation matrix switches and programmable faders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
