Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Wireless Systems Engineer to collaborate with Baseband, RF, Antenna and Software/Firmware teams to define system architectures, throughput targets, and latency budgets for Wi‑Fi products.

You will architect and maintain automated test beds for Wi‑Fi performance, interoperability, roaming and compliance, and you will develop Python measurement scripts to streamline regression and stress testing across client ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of 802.11 standards and security protocols.
• Hands-on proficiency with RF test equipment and labs.

Responsibilities

• Define system architectures and performance targets for Wi-Fi products.
• Perform PHY/MAC trade-off studies (MIMO, beamforming, OFDMA).
• Build and maintain automated test beds for performance and compliance.
• Characterize throughput, PER, latency, jitter, EVM and spectral emissions.
• Emulate real-world environments with multipath channels and RF hardware.
• Develop Python test frameworks for regression and stress testing.
• Lead RCFA for wireless anomalies using sniffers and logs.
