Meta in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Wireless Engineer to design and execute comprehensive test plans for wireless features, including WiFi, BT and LTE/5G. The role is onsite, collaborating with FW/SW/Systems/RF-SW teams to drive validation and performance metrics.

You will develop OOP-based automation frameworks, bootstrap automation facilities, and deliver KPIs and failure analyses to support product milestones. A BS in EE and 3+ years in product development are required.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of wireless fundamentals and validation techniques.
• Knowledge of 3GPP (4G/5G) and WiFi standards focusing on protocol and performance.
• 3+ years of product development with cross-functional and international teams.
• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test plans and test cases for wireless features across protocol, performance, power and stability.
• Execute regression and new feature tests; track progress and issues.
• Develop scalable test framework for automation of RF feature validation (WiFi, BT, LTE/5G).
• Collaborate with FW/SW/Systems/RF-SW and hardware teams to debug issues from automated tests.
• Report wireless performance for key release milestones.
