Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an HW/RF Engineer in San Jose, CA to assist bring-up, simulation, and validation of RF/antenna designs. You will automate test equipment to improve cycle efficiency and contribute to test reports.

Collaborating with HW/SW Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain, you will apply Python, C++, MATLAB, and LabVIEW skills while working with microwave measurement gear across 450–7125 MHz. 3+ years in HW product development is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSEE with 3+ years HW product development and testing.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, MATLAB, and/or LabVIEW.
• Hands-on microwave/measurement equipment experience (Network/Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, VSAs/Generators, traffic generators, wireless sniffers).
• Familiarity with wireless architectures and wireless networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bring-up, simulation, and validation of RF/antenna designs.
• Test wireless/RF subsystems against predefined metrics.
• Automate test equipment to improve test cycle efficiency.
• Produce test reports and present findings.
• Collaborate with HW/SW Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams.
