South Dakota Farm Bureau in Western South Dakota is seeking a Western Regional Farm Bureau Manager to build trusted relationships and develop local leaders, turning farmers’ priorities into meaningful action.

The role connects county Farm Bureaus with the state office, requires in-state travel, and offers remote-work flexibility. You’ll engage young farmers, recruit voting members, and represent SDFB at regional events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field preferred.
• Knowledge and enthusiasm about a progressive agricultural industry.
• Understanding of agricultural industry, regulations and policy.
• Excellent communication, leadership and personable skills.
• Commitment to grow all areas of responsibility.
• Self-starter who takes initiative, is trustworthy and able to work independently.
• Technology and social media savvy.
• Ability to lift to 25+ lbs. and hook up and pull a trailer.
• Valid driver’s license.
