Job summary

Flourish is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead relationships with independent RIAs, grow product adoption, and originate new opportunities. You’ll own end-to-end client conversations, manage inbound leads, and partner with marketing to drive growth.

Based remotely in the western US (including TX, CO, AZ, or CA; California strongly preferred), you will travel to visit clients and conferences (<50% travel), collaborate across teams, and help shape sales strategy within a fast-paced fintech startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of related sales experience.
• Series 7 license or willingness to obtain within 60 days of joining.
• Remote-based in the western half of the US including Texas, Colorado, Arizona or California (CA strongly preferred).
• Experience working with Retirement Investment Advisors.
• Must be able to pass fingerprint background check for FINRA.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end client relationships from sourcing to activation.
• Handle inbound leads and originate new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop growth strategies.
• Develop a coverage strategy for existing client relationships.
• Maintain CRM-based pipeline and reporting tools.
• Travel to visit clients and conferences (<50% travel).
