Optics11 Life is expanding its commercial team in the United States. We seek a Sales Representative to identify opportunities, develop the West Coast territory, and drive deals from first contact to purchase order.

You will collaborate with Field Application Scientists and represent our biotech instruments at conferences and customer sites. Ideal candidates have a life sciences background, 3–5 years of sales experience in the sector, and a proven track record in building networks and closing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Life Sciences or Biomedical Sciences preferred.
• 3–5 years of sales experience in the scientific or life sciences industry, selling to pharma, biotech, research laboratories, and academic institutions.
• Proven ability to win new business and expand client networks.
• Ability to engage researchers on complex scientific questions and connect diverse customer needs with high-tech measurement instruments.
• Quick learner with the ability to master technical information and new systems.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage customer relationships, sales pipelines and forecasting.
• You enjoy being on the road! 50-75% travel on the West Coast, including regular overnight stays for conferences and remote customers.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently across time zones, while proactively communicating, collaborating asynchronously, and staying connected to the wider team.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Build and run a pipeline of new opportunities in the territory, including prospecting new leads.
• Drive deals through the full cycle, from first contact to purchase order.
• Qualify opportunities and bring in our Field Application Scientist for technical depth.
• Represent Optics11 Life at conferences and customer sites.
• Keep the CRM up to date daily; forecast accuracy matters.
• Feed customer input back to product and marketing.
