Job summary

Employee Family Protection, Inc. is seeking a Benefit Service Center Associate to support West Coast clients and employees. This fully remote role requires working Pacific Time hours and delivering high-quality benefit guidance and service.

The ideal candidate will have a background in insurance or worksite benefits, strong communication skills, and a commitment to confidentiality while assisting employees with coverage questions and claims.

Qualifications

• Located in the Pacific Time Zone or able to work Pacific Time business hours.
• Preferred prior call center or customer service experience.
• Experience in insurance or worksite benefits is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; confidentiality is essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to employees regarding their benefit questions.
• Provide Benefit Service Center coverage during designated Pacific Time business hours.
• Investigate and respond to employee inquiries about coverage, claims, and plan options.
• Create, manage, and track service tickets in our internal systems.
• Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve employee concerns.
• Provide professional, courteous service to clients, employees, brokers, carriers, and internal team members.
• Maintain employee confidentiality and adhere to data privacy and security standards.
