Job summary

Employee Family Protection (EFP) is seeking a Benefit Service Center Associate to support West Coast clients during Pacific Time business hours. This fully remote role targets California and other West Coast locations and emphasizes customer service, accuracy, and privacy.

The ideal candidate has call center experience and insurance worksite benefits background, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Located in the Pacific Time Zone or able to work Pacific Time business hours.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Health and Life Insurance License is required.
• Experience in a call center and/or worksite benefits is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to employees regarding their benefit questions.
• Provide Benefit Service Center coverage during designated Pacific Time business hours.
• Investigate and respond to employee inquiries about coverage, claims, and plan options.
• Create, manage, and track service tickets in our internal systems.
• Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve employee concerns.
• Provide professional, courteous service to clients, employees, brokers, carriers, and internal team members.
• Maintain employee confidentiality and adhere to data privacy and security standards.
• Support additional administrative or service-related duties as needed.
