Job summary

Hearst Magazines is seeking an Auction Support Team Specialist to guide sellers through the live auction experience, ensuring interactions are seamless, responsive, and supportive from launch through completion. You will monitor activity, respond to inquiries, and escalate when needed while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with teammates to keep listings up to date.

This fully remote role requires a weekend schedule and residence in eligible US states, offering a competitive base

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in customer service or related roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers throughout their live auction experience, delivering exceptional customer service from auction launch through completion.
• Monitor live auction activity, including seller communications, and respond promptly to inquiries and issues.
• Escalate complex concerns to internal stakeholders while maintaining clear communication with sellers.
• Manage updates, revisions, and corrections to active auction listings to ensure accuracy and a high-quality user experience.
• Support sellers whose listings are preparing to go live by providing guidance, answering questions, and sharing status updates.
• Maintain accurate records of auction activity, seller communications, monitored listings, and changes made during the auction process.
• Collaborate with teammates by assisting with queue management and operational support as needed.
• Contribute to special projects and additional responsibilities to support the growth and success of Bring a Trailer.
