Job summary

Hearst Magazines is seeking an Auction Support Team Specialist to guide sellers through the live auction experience on Bring a Trailer. You will deliver proactive, responsive support from launch to completion, ensuring listings stay accurate and timelines are met.

This fully remote role requires residence in CA, CO, DE, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, NY, NC, OH, PA, RI, TX, VA, WA, or WI and a weekend schedule as needed. Base salary ranges from 59k to 66.3k per year with no bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing roles such as customer service, support, or coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse customers.
• Strong empathy and active listening to help others succeed.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers during their live auction experience.
• Monitor live auction activity and respond promptly to inquiries and issues.
• Escalate complex concerns to appropriate internal stakeholders with clear communication.
• Update and correct active auction listings to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Support sellers preparing to go live with guidance and status updates.
• Maintain accurate records of activity, communications, and listing changes.
