Job summary

Vasion is seeking a Web Operations Manager to be the operational engine of the web team. You will own the CMS day-to-day, build and edit pages, and govern templates and design-system usage while coordinating with developers, UX/UI, content, and regional marketing.

You will run standups, sprint planning, and retros, shape the web roadmap, ensure accessibility and performance, and partner with leadership to translate strategy into executable plans. Remote/hybrid options available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in web operations, digital production, web project management, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience building and editing pages inside a modern CMS (headless CMS strongly preferred).
• Strong requirements-gathering skills — turning ambiguous business requests into actionable specs.
• Experience running Agile ceremonies and owning a team's roadmap and delivery health.
• Good judgment on triage — what to build vs. what to scope and hand to others.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for accurate scoping and talks with engineers.
• Familiarity with technical SEO fundamentals and CRO/testing concepts at execution level.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build, edit, and publish webpages and landing pages directly in the CMS using existing components.
• Own intake for web requests, gather requirements, and turn them into clear specs.
• Determine the right path for each request—directly within scope or scoped to teammates.
• Maintain governance over templates, components, and design-system usage across the site.
• Handle redirect management, URL governance, and multi-brand consolidation.
• Monitor Core Web Vitals, site speed, uptime, and overall page performance; triage issues.
• Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA, 2.1 AA) and coordinate remediation with developers.
• Run web team standups, sprint planning, prioritization, and retros.
• Build and maintain the roadmap for web and digital properties; own sprint health.
• Serve as first contact for stakeholders and translate needs into scoped roadmap items.
• Support localization and multi-region site execution with content and regional teams.
• Surface feasibility and constraints to leadership for strategy shaping.
