Job summary

Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) seeks a full-time Web Application Developer to support NASA's Earth Science Division. You will focus on PHP with Drupal and WordPress to build secure, scalable web applications and CMS tools.

You will work within a distributed team, collaborating with developers, designers, content producers, PMs and stakeholders to deliver engaging websites and knowledge-management solutions for internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or web design/development or comparable work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in deploying commercial or government websites and secure web applications/content management systems.
• Drupal 10/11 maintenance and development, including custom module development.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and writing maintainable, scalable code.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP-based web applications using Drupal and WordPress.
• Deploy, test, and support websites and web-based tools for NASA's Earth Science Division.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, content producers, PMs and stakeholders.
• Contribute to knowledge management tools and web platforms for internal and external audiences.
