Jobot in the United States is seeking an entrepreneurial attorney to join its growing workers' compensation practice on a fully remote basis. You will manage and grow an existing book, maintain client relationships, and represent clients in proceedings with autonomy and strong firm support.

The role emphasizes a portable book, substantial experience, and a compensation structure tied to collections, with opportunities for partnership or equity as the practice expands in GA and FL markets.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Georgia and/or Florida.
• Substantial experience practicing workers' compensation law.
• Established portable book of workers' compensation business.
• Ability to originate and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to attend court and other proceedings in their state.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of workers' compensation clients and matters.
• Maintain direct relationships with clients and referral sources.
• Represent clients in workers' compensation proceedings, hearings, mediations, and litigation as appropriate.
• Handle matters through resolution, including settlement negotiations and contested proceedings.
• Continue developing business through established professional relationships and new opportunities.
• Collaborate with the firm's attorneys and support professionals.
• Maintain client service standards and compliance with applicable state legal requirements.
