Job summary

Creative Risk Solutions is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist for a remote role handling Maine, Connecticut and New Jersey claims. Active licenses in those states, or the ability to obtain within three months, are required.

You will gather information, investigate lost-time claims, and mediate between insured and insurer to drive timely settlements. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, timely payments, and strong cross-state knowledge.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Technical designations encouraged (AIC, CPCU).
• 3–5 years of workers’ compensation claims handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives, gathers and transmits workers’ compensation information promptly.
• Investigates, evaluates and resolves lost-time claims, including litigated claims.
• Mediates between insured and insurer on coverage issues with minimal supervision.
• Enters and maintains accurate data on claims system; processes final settlements and payments.
• Willingness to become licensed in required jurisdictions within three months.
