Job summary

Holmes Murphy's Creative Risk Solutions seeks a Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist to join our team in Maine. You will handle claims across Maine, Connecticut, and New Jersey, ensuring accurate data entry, timely communication, and effective resolution of lost time cases.

The role requires 3–5 years of workers’ compensation experience, active or readily obtainable ME/CT/NJ licenses, and strong knowledge of claims processing across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of workers’ compensation claims experience.
• Experience handling Maine, Connecticut, and New Jersey claims.
• Active Maine, Connecticut, and/or New Jersey workers’ compensation license or ability to acquire within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Receives, gathers and transmits workers’ compensation information to the company from insureds, claimants and staff.
• Investigates, evaluates and resolves lost time workers’ compensation claims, including litigated claims.
• Mediates between insured and insurer, researching coverage issues as needed.
• Enters and maintains accurate claim data in the system through the process.
