Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to design water treatment plants, wastewater facilities, lift stations, and related infrastructure. The role involves hydraulic simulations, permit documentation, and regulatory support, with independent work in a remote-friendly environment and periodic travel to sites.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, PE licensure, and 5+ years of relevant experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and HEC software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent related field from an ABET/EAC-accredited university
• PE Licensure required
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with water/wastewater projects

Responsibilities

• Plan and design water treatment plants, wastewater facilities, lift stations, and related infrastructure
• Perform hydraulic simulations and process calculations
• Prepare engineering reports and permit applications; support permitting/regulatory compliance
• Represent Atwell in client and regulatory meetings; conduct site assessments and develop design solutions
