Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to plan and design treatment plants, wastewater facilities, and related infrastructure. The role involves hydraulic simulations, report preparation, and regulatory permitting support, with independent remote work and periodic site travel.

You will represent Atwell in client meetings and coordinate with regulators while managing multiple deadlines across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer licensure is required.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design water treatment plants and wastewater facilities.
• Perform hydraulic simulations and process calculations.
• Prepare engineering reports and permit applications.
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance with state and federal agencies.
• Represent Atwell in client and regulatory meetings; travel occasionally.
• Work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple deadlines.
