Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to plan and design treatment plants, lift stations, and related infrastructure. The role involves hydraulic simulations, permit applications, and compliance across agencies.

You will represent Atwell in meetings, conduct site assessments, and develop design solutions, working remotely with occasional site travel. Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree, PE licensure, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D and HEC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent related field from an ABET-accredited university.
• PE Licensure required.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design water treatment plants, wastewater facilities, lift stations, and related infrastructure.
• Perform hydraulic simulations and process calculations; prepare reports and permit applications.
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance efforts across state and federal agencies.
• Represent Atwell in client and regulatory meetings; conduct site assessments and develop design solutions.
• Work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple project deadlines; occasional site travel.
