Job summary

Chart Industries, in a remote US-based role, seeks a Commercial Sales Manager to drive revenue growth in municipal and industrial water markets. You will build strategic customer relationships, manage pipelines in Salesforce, and lead cross-functional teams to deploy capital water treatment solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in technical sales within water treatment, strong presentations, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales or commercial leadership in water treatment.
• Experience selling capital equipment and engineered systems to municipal/industrial markets.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Drive new business in municipal, industrial, commercial, and private utilities.
• Own territory goals, bookings, and pipeline development.
• Build relationships with engineers, municipalities, utilities, EPC firms, and regulators.
• Forecast opportunities and bookings using Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with engineering and proposals teams to craft competitive solutions.
• Lead discovery discussions on water quality, treatment goals, and compliance.
• Present technologies at meetings, webinars, and industry events.
• Assist with proposals, pricing, and contract handoffs.
• Monitor competitors and regulatory trends; pursue partnerships with channel partners.
• Represent Chart Water at industry conferences and events.
• Support aftermarket services and lifecycle offerings.
