Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for municipal water treatment solutions. You will focus on the western half of the US and all of Canada, securing contracts with municipal utilities, private water suppliers, and industrial customers while collaborating with the Applications Engineering team.

The role requires at least 3 years of sales experience and a Bachelor’s degree, with travel, relationship-building, and a proven ability to drive the full sales cycle.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of sales experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equal relevant sales experience.
• Industrial equipment sales experience, preferred in Water or Wastewater Treatment.
• Centrifugal blower knowledge preferred.
• Strong presentation skills and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with relationship-building and cold-calling abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Generate new sales.
• Plan, strategize, and execute sales plans for assigned markets.
• Own annual sales and pipeline goals for the territory.
• Manage opportunity pipeline using Salesforce with timely updates and bookings forecasts.
• Develop relationships with engineers, end users, operators, trade organizations, regulators, and contractors.
• Understand wastewater treatment processes, technologies, products, and differentiators.
• Guide customers through discovery and position Chart as the preferred solution.
• Coordinate proposals with Applications Engineering and support bid pricing processes.
• Communicate project status and delivery expectations to customers.
