Job summary

Accounting Search seeks a Business Development Manager for the water treatment sector to drive technical sales and grow new business from lead generation through closed deals with OEMs, distributors, dealers, and private-label accounts.

You will act as the technical expert in water softeners, filtration, RO, valves, tanks, and media, guiding customers and translating needs into internal requirements. Travel up to 50% and report to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in residential/light commercial water treatment equipment sales with technical knowledge in water chemistry, applications, and equipment sizing.
• Proven track record in full-cycle sales and customer relationship management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation, sample testing, quotations, and commercial proposals—building OEM, distributor, dealer, plumbing, and private-label accounts.
• Maintain an active Salesforce CRM pipeline with accurate stages, values, and close dates.
