Job summary

Chemtrade is seeking a Sales Account Manager - Water Solutions to develop and manage sales of water chemicals across the Central South region of the United States (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana). The role is home-based in Texas with 50–70% travel and reports to the Sales Director.

You will build relationships with customers, convey market insights, and implement tactical strategies to exceed margins.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or Environmental Sciences with a minimum 5-10 years' experience in chemical sales and marketing, preferably within the Water and/or Paper Industry.
• MBA would be considered a strong asset.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new sales and gain market info in the Central South of US.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers in the territory to understand needs, gain market knowledge and recommend actions.
• Ensure relationships with end-use customers are favorable.
• Negotiate sales agreements at strategic accounts to meet corporate objectives.
• Coordinate with operations and customer service to resolve issues and implement strategy.
