ARIZONA STATE PARKS AND TRAILS is seeking a Wastewater Operations Manager at the Central Office in Phoenix, AZ. The role leads water resource management and environmental compliance, focusing on water rights and regulatory oversight across state parks.

The position requires experience in regulated utilities, strong analytical and communication skills, and may offer remote work within Arizona based on needs and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hydrology or related field.
• 3–5 years in regulated water utilities or regulatory agencies.
• Licensed Hydrologist preferred; ADEQ Grade 3 operator certs preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day water resource management and environmental utility compliance.
• Lead hydrologist activities focused on water quantity, water rights, and stream adjudications.
• Ensure SDWA and CWA regulatory compliance for water/wastewater utilities.
• Oversee treatment facilities at 18 state parks and related operations.
