Job summary

Arizona Department of Water Resources seeks a Water Resources Manager Senior for the Assured and Adequate Water Supply program. The role leads a multidisciplinary team, develops policy, and coordinates with legal and executive staff to advance water-supply planning across Arizona.

The position is hybrid (remote and office in Phoenix) with a minimum on-site presence and a salary range of $110,000–$130,000. A strong background in water resources policy and management is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two days on-site per week at the ADWR office.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in regulatory environments.
• Strong strategic planning and policy development skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AAWS program management and staff performance.
• Develop and disseminate policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Represent the Department in meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure licensing time frames are met and data requests are fulfilled.
