Job summary

Consor is seeking a Water Distribution System Modeler and Planner to advance our Utility Planning practice. You will act as a technical resource on complex planning and modeling assignments for public and private clients, supporting system analysis, capacity planning, CIP, and regulatory studies.

This is a fully remote role. You will lead projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development, leveraging EPANET, InfoWater Pro, and WaterCAD/WaterGEMS within GIS-backed workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Civil/Environmental Engineering with hydraulics emphasis.
• PE license.
• 10+ years in water distribution system modeling and planning (collection system a plus).
• Experience applying hydraulic models for system analysis and planning studies.
• Proficiency with hydraulic modeling tools listed above and data integration with GIS.

Responsibilities

• Lead water distribution modeling and utility planning projects.
• Develop, calibrate, and analyze hydraulic models for performance, fire flow, water quality, and growth.
• Prepare reports and documentation for clients and regulatory audiences.
• Support CIP, master planning, and long-range infrastructure planning.
• Collaborate with GIS, asset management, and operations teams.
