Job summary

Consor is seeking a Water Distribution System Modeler and Planner in a fully remote role to support our Utility Planning practice. The ideal candidate will lead complex hydraulic modeling and planning studies for public and private utilities and help shape Consor’s water planning services.

Responsibilities include developing models, calibrating analyses, preparing technical reports, and coordinating with GIS/operations.

Qualifications

BS in Civil/Environmental engineering with hydraulics emphasis.
10+ years in water distribution modeling and planning.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience developing hydraulic models for planning studies and decision support.
Proficiency with EPANET, InfoWater Pro, WaterCAD/WaterGEMS.
Strong GIS knowledge and data integration for models.
Experience with dashboards/Python scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical lead, task lead, or PM on water distribution modeling projects.
Develop, calibrate, and analyze hydraulic models and scenarios.
Prepare reports, planning studies, and model documentation.
Support CIP and long-range infrastructure planning.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on integrated planning.
Assist with proposals and level-of-effort estimates.
Maintain client relationships and provide technical guidance.
Mentor junior modelers and engineers.
Coordinate with GIS and operations staff for data integration.
Support business development within Utility Planning.
