Job summary

Consor is seeking a Water Distribution System Modeler and Planner to grow our Utility Planning practice. Lead modeling projects, develop hydraulic models, and mentorjunior staff while maintaining client relationships.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in water systems, a PE license, and experience with EPANET/InfoWater Pro. This role offers remote work options and strong career growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Environmental Engineering with hydraulics focus.
• 10+ years in water distribution system modeling and planning.
• PE license and strong modeling experience for system analysis and planning.
• Proficiency with hydraulic models (EPANET, InfoWater Pro, WaterCAD/WaterGEMS).
• GIS data integration and scripting or automation experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead water distribution modeling and utility planning projects.
• Develop, calibrate, and analyze hydraulic models to evaluate performance.
• Prepare reports, studies, and documentation for various audiences.
• Support CIP, master planning, and long-range infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with GIS, asset management, and operations teams.
• Assist with proposals, scope development, and effort estimates.
• Maintain client relationships and act as technical advisor.
• Mentor junior modelers and engineers; coordinate with team members.
• Contribute to business development within the Utility Planning group.
