Job summary

Americares is seeking a Manager, WASH Technical Portfolio to lead and coordinate the organization's global WASH program work. The role supports country programs, grants management, donor reporting and quality assurance, with day-to-day guidance to regional teams from a remote-based hub.

Based in a fully virtual environment, the position offers a 12-month assignment and travel up to 10% to support implementation and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical portfolio activities across multiple WASH programs, grants, stakeholders and geographic regions.
• Support proposal development, technical reviews, donor reporting and grant management processes.
• Provide technical assistance and implementation support to country offices and regional program teams.
• Develop and maintain systems to track proposals, technical assistance activities, donor deliverables and key portfolio milestones.
• Coordinate annual portfolio planning, technical workplans and portfolio monitoring efforts. Support knowledge management initiatives, including technical repositories, lessons learned and communities of practice.
• Coordinate external engagement activities, including conferences, abstracts and technical events. Support implementation and continuous improvement of the WASH operating model, including workflows, guidance documents and cross-functional coordination mechanisms.
• Participate in emergency preparedness activities and maintain readiness to deploy in support of humanitarian responses.
• Actively model and contribute to Americares values, work culture and mission.
