Job summary

World Vision USA is seeking a Program Manager in its Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs Division. The role supports rapid-onset and chronic emergencies, managing USG and private donor-funded projects with strong emphasis on compliance and impact.

The position offers remote flexibility within the United States, with hybrid options in Federal Way, WA or Washington, DC. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience; Master’s preferred. Travel up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; eight years overall experience.
• Master's degree in related field preferred (IR, social sciences, etc.).
• Minimum of five years related work experience in humanitarian/emergency affairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, coordination and management for rapid onset and complex humanitarian emergencies.
• Oversee public (USG) and private funded projects ensuring donor compliance and high-quality implementation.
• Communicate with regional/national offices and stakeholders; manage risks and operational bottlenecks.
• Support field operations, including assessments, design/start-up/phasing-out, reporting, and evaluation activities.
• Lead or participate in donor engagement, grant development, and capacity-building with WVUS partners.
