Job summary

Allegiance Search Group client seeks a remote VP, Transmission & Analytics to lead transmission strategy and market analysis nationwide. You will oversee interconnection processes, grid modeling, and energy market analysis, collaborating with development, engineering, and operations teams.

The role provides direct access to leadership, with influence over interconnection strategy and portfolio optimization as the company expands in energy infrastructure across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in transmission planning, interconnection, or grid analysis.
• Strong knowledge of ISOs/RTOs, tariffs, and interconnection procedures (GIA).
• Proven ability to lead teams and communicate with utilities, regulators, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute transmission strategy across the portfolio to enable interconnection and grid integration.
• Own interconnection processes across multiple ISOs/RTOs, manage queues and filings.
• Lead power flow modeling, grid studies, and market analysis for project feasibility.
• Translate regulatory constraints into actionable transmission plans aligning with finance and schedule.
• Collaborate with development, engineering, operations, and commercial teams to resolve constraints.
• Monitor policy and tariff developments to anticipate risks and opportunities.
• Represent the company with utilities, grid operators, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Build and lead a high-performing transmission and analytics team with scalable processes.
• Take on additional responsibilities to support company growth and priorities.
