Job summary

Valeris, a full‑service life sciences commercialization partner, seeks a VP of Patient Support Services to design and scale patient access and affordability solutions across biopharma partnerships. You will lead HUB operations, copay programs, and patient support, driving compliance, innovation, and client outcomes at scale.

The role offers remote work with travel as needed; 10+ years in senior patient services leadership and a strong grasp of reimbursement models are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required; MBA, MHA, or related advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in patient support services, HUB operations, patient affordability programs, specialty pharmacy, or pharma services.
• Proven success leading large‑scale, multi‑client programs in a third‑party HUB or outsourced services environment.
• Deep understanding of patient access, reimbursement models, and the pharmaceutical commercialization process.
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships at the executive level.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic vision for operations including copay programs, patient affordability solutions, and patient support services across multiple biopharma partnerships.
• Lead all aspects of HUB operations and patient affordability programs, including benefits verification, prior authorization, financial assistance, copay assistance, and patient onboarding.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics, ensuring achievement of client SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
• Oversee workforce planning, training, and talent development to ensure organizational readiness and capability to meet evolving client needs.
