Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Vice President of Operations and Risk Management for a remote role based in the United States. The position leads integrated internal operations, shared services, and cross-functional alignment to ensure clear execution and enterprise-wide performance.

The candidate will shape operating rhythms, drive automation, and manage risk in a mission-driven environment, partnering with executive leadership to advance organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of senior leadership experience in operations, preferably in nonprofit or mission-driven sectors.
• Proven executive leadership across HR, Finance, Technology, Facilities and Risk Management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for integrated internal operations and shared services.
• Establish clear operating rhythms and decision-making processes for consistent execution.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and data/technology.
• Oversee People, Culture, and HR practices post-transition.
• Manage technology strategy, infrastructure, and cybersecurity governance.
• Lead operational risk management and ensure compliance with legal and financial obligations.
• Partner with executives to align enterprise priorities and enhance organizational effectiveness.
