Job summary

Mantle Reach Power LLC is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to lead growth across North America for geothermal projects. You will source and negotiate acquisitions, develop partnerships with utilities, technology companies, and project partners, and drive term sheets and offtake agreements.

This senior role requires 10+ years in US power, a finance/economics degree, and strong contract negotiation skills.

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience in US power markets.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field.
Strong fluency with commercial contract terms and negotiation.
Experience pricing and structuring offtake solutions.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work across business needs.

Responsibilities

Source and lead evaluation, negotiation, and execution of project acquisitions, joint development arrangements, and other third-party development frameworks.
Grow, develop, and manage Mantle Reach’s relationships with prospective customers and project partners.
Lead the origination, structuring, pricing, and negotiation of all agreements with offtake parties.
Drive strategies to bring geothermal power to customers at scale.
Identify target markets, regulatory environments, and procurement cycles.
Oversee due diligence and risk assessment for acquisitions and present recommendations to leadership.
Collaborate with engineering and development teams on commercial viability and scale.
