Job summary

Brightcore Energy seeks a Midwest Director of Project Development (Geothermal) to lead complex geothermal development projects from inception to contract execution. This role blends business development, stakeholder management, technical engineering understanding, regulatory insight, and financial acumen to drive project success.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, engaging clients, and shaping strategies to meet timelines, budgets, and revenue targets while navigating

Qualifications

• 7+ years in client-facing roles in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• 5+ years in supervisory, sales, project management or similar experience.
• Experience in renewable energy project development, real estate development, MEP engineering, environmental engineering or related field.
• Ability to interpret technical, engineering, financial, and regulatory documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams across multiple geothermal projects, managing budgets, schedules and performance.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to meet timelines with clear client communication.
• Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies for geothermal projects and engage stakeholders.
• Translate technical geothermal information into actionable guidance for teams and clients.
• Develop and present project financials including capital and operating expenses.
• Manage project pipeline to meet sales and revenue targets.
