Job summary

Sedgwick, a global leader in risk and claims administration, seeks a Vice President of Business Development to expand top-line growth by building and maintaining client relationships across diverse industries. You’ll lead strategic initiatives, leverage Sedgwick’s global network, and travel to deploy programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college; preferred in Business Administration, Finance or Risk Management.
• Ten years of relationship-building in claims or risk management; required.
• Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills; PC literate; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, develops and maintains internal and external relationships/partnerships.
• Builds relationships with prospects.
• Facilitates development of new partnerships and implementation processes ensuring smooth transition of new client programs.
• Develops knowledge of prospect operations to tailor marketing needs.
• Ensures identification of required expertise and resources.
• Utilizes national resources to respond to RFPs, proposals, and presentations.
• Manages design of service programs to fulfill client needs.
• Develops and implements an annual sales and service plan with identified prospects.
• Travels as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
